My top 10 lomographers

10. @valennano
He’s a great lover of his dog, who is often the main character of his sessions. He shares some scenarios (Barcelona) and obsessions (magnificent buildings, street lights and palm trees, for example) with me, and his albums are always worth a visit.

9. @eskimofriend
Eskimofriend’s from Germany and is also a great light painter, although his talents don’t end here, because he’s also a landscape specialist, no matter the way: cross processed, panoramic with Horizon or stylish black and white; they are all fantastic.

8. @javihacefotos
Javi’s from Madrid and offers great shots of his hometown (el Retiro, la Gran Via, la puerta de Alcalá…day and night!), and has moved around Spain a great deal: Galicia, Girona…But his talent is not restricted to nationals, his black and white album in Rome is just fantastic. And lately, I loved his infrared portraits (so many ideas to use!).

7. @zoezo
This English lomographer is fan of her Zenit and is a fantastic portrayer of her garden and the English topography: churches, palaces, countryside, flowers… and of course her family, friends and pets. I remember her funny (and imaginative) Easter album, with Easter eggs and Easter bonny included!

6. @robter
We also share some scenarios (Sitges, Barcelona) but her photos have a different and distinctive touch. Recently I just loved his shots at Tibidabo park (with the red plane and the blue sky). She’s creative and full of ideas, like her double exposure album with sunglasses and sensia…

5. @12_12
He’s from Berlin, he loves sprockets and his lomos are full of striking colours: red, green, yellow. It’s like living in Amelie’s world. Even when portraying an abandoned hospital, his lomo shots will make you want to visit the place.

4. @cohetesnaranjas
She’s also Barcelona and her nickname comes from a beautiful line from the band Family. Orange rockets’ (that’s the translation of her nickname) shots are full of colour, life and personality. No matter the circumstance (day, night) or the place (an ordinary street, a nice building or the water) she always gets this happy and colourful touch. She’s also got a series of doubles with inscriptions and letters which are quite inspiring.

3. @fafascinado
He’s another lomo-friend from Barcelona. Some time ago I just loved his Sardine-test session, colourful and funny. But in his lomohome you can find much more interesting stuff: neon lights, black and white portraits, vintage picnic shots or creative diptics, just to give some examples.

2. @nikkaxxx
She’s like a lomo activist, she’s got a blog devoted to lomography (and very helpful for those who need advise), administers a group in flickr, organizes workshops in the Canary islands… and has won his position as a finalist in the great lomo contest (good luck!) for her experiments with analogue sound and lomo cameras…It’s difficult to summarise her more than 3500 pictures, but she’s extremely brave and good at extreme shots (in dark bars, concerts, fireworks…) although, I must insist, in her gallery you’ll find pretty much anything: landscapes, underwater pics, portraits, supersampler shots…

1. @t0m7
I love the sessions and the landscape pictures of this lomographer in Viena. Recently, his oldtimer session (with vintage car and model) in a beautiful field just caught my attention and I absolutely love every lomopic in it. But what made me discover him in the first place were his varied and superior pics of Italy: awesome panoramics in Manarola, Siena, Verona and Firenze with his Horizon and lovely shots in Rimini and San Marino. And there’s more wonder to discover in his 117 albums!!
