Lomographic Color Studies: A Frosted Palette

We've finally nailed down the basic colors from primary to secondary; now it's time to study other colors, hybrids, and palettes that make this world more complex and non-binary. The winter does not just bring the cold, but also the sudden surrealness of a snow-ridden wonderland.

Autumn feels so fleeting once the cool-and-simultaneously-warm shades of nature come draped in pure white. Nature speaks through the snow as if cleansing the world, cleaning the palates of the mouth after a good run of the year. The world seems empty, with nothing but the sky blue reflecting on to the milky blanket. On sunny days, the streaks of clouds blend with the azure yonder into cornflower-hued feathers. Sometimes, grays and browns slip by from the remnants of frozen trees and earth.

Twilight is for prismatic amethyst; by nighttime, the world falls into nocturnal ultramarine. This winter wonderland is too cool to last indefinitely.
