   Very nice collection from your summer travels! What are the little houses on the pillars called and what are they for?

   @clickiemcpete thankss. Horreos called. Are buildings to store grain and other agricultural products. The horreos allow ventilation through the slots and are off the ground to prevent moisture and animals. In Spain are typical in northern, Galicia and Asturias.
