From a funky house perspective

Fujicolor Pro 400H is in my opinion the most realistic film of all the color negative 400's still available today. Thanks to Fujifilm's 4th cyan layer for improved color rendition, I guess. No punchy contrast, no crazy saturation, no pastel hue, balanced skin tone, not much of the impromptu greenish/yellow cast in low light settings (contrary to the way cheaper Superia 400), discreet grain and excellent sharpness. However, it visually lacks a bit of the pizzazz and the analogue feel that I crave for in film photography. And it's painfully expensive for a moderately fast color negative film
