Vvedensky Vladychny Monastery

Serpukhov Vladychny Vvedensky Convent is located in Serpukhov. It was founded in 1360 by Metropolitan Alexy of Moscow.
According to legend, the foundation of the monastery was preceded by the special will of the Mother of God: "Alexis! It is fitting for you to build a monastery for my name, but also for yourself in memory ... in the hail Serpukhov, there is a place for salvation to many souls of men! "
