In 1995, the day of the 15th anniversary of the death of the famous Russian poet, actor and musician Vladimir Vysotsky, one of the sights appeared in Moscow - a monument to Vladimir Vysotsky. Sculptor - G. Raspopov. A monument was erected at the Petrovsky Gate, on Petrovka Street, and is a sculpture of a musician with arms spread out. Behind Vysotsky's back is a guitar, and his face is turned towards the sky. Vladimir Vysotsky knows almost everyone in Russia, and the opening of the monument to this remarkable musician aroused great interest and approval in society. Once Vysotsky said: "But they will not put me a monument in the park, somewhere near the Petrovsky gate." Apparently, guided by these words, the monument was placed there. The choice of this place is very symbolic and shows the recognition of Vysotsky by the whole country. In our time, the monument to Vladimir Vysotsky is the place of gathering his fans on his birthday and the day of death of the singer.
