Fyodor Dostoevsky near the Russian State Library

At the heart of the capital, on the street Vozdvizhenka in 1997 there was one more attractions include Moscow - a monument to the writer Fyodor Dostoevsky. The monument is located next to the Lenin Library, known nowadays as the Russian State Library. It was installed to celebrate the 850th anniversary of Moscow.
The monument is a sculpture of the writer. Dostoevsky's sitting on the bench and thoughtfully examines the surrounding area.
It is a monument to the work of A. Rukavishnikov, was named "monument to the hemorrhoids" for his strange position.
Maxim Goryunov wrote: «...a well-known monument to the writer at the Lenin library. Dostoevsky just sits there and looks at his hands. If to get accustomed, at once it will become visible that it is the prisoner on cross-questioning. Hides eyes that not to look at the investigator, and I hunched a back because waits for blow of the escort. Normal people pass by such plots without looking back.
