A very expired roll of Orwochrom ut18 developed by my film lab via cold c-41 (just in case — not to lose all the aged emulsion to developmental temperature 😬). Do you have any experience in comparing cold and normal c-41 for expired film? Any differences? Is there any point in manual cold development or what’s dead is dead anyway?

i developed a few expired ORWO QRS & CNS in Cinestill at 39°C because i thought that a bit temperature can't be wrong with old film. worked out fine. but expired E6 is always gambling.

@stereograph thanks very much for the info! I’m starting to think that if the film is somewhat alive 39 won’t hurt it.
And if it’s dead, then no 25 could save it 🤷
