Test shot

This is a roll I shot this morning to test a used Nikon FA that I bought cheap (£60, with Vivitar 28-210mm f3.5-f5.6 zoom lens and Nikon Speedlight SB-15 flash) from a charity shop yesterday (13 October 2012). Most shots are overexposed, although I shot exclusively in Programme mode. The possible reasons for this include: weak batteries (they're the ones that were in the cam when I bought it, so I've no idea how old they are), a faulty light meter (always a possibility), the quality of the one-hour processing done by Boots lab (although I doubt this, as they've always done a good job before), and a very sticky ISO/ASA speed-setting dial (which programmes the light meter). With all these variables, it's really hard to say where the real problem lies. I will have to do further test rolls, I guess... Unless otherwise stated, all shots were taken with the Vivitar zoom lens, which I suspect is pretty crap, at least compared to the Nikkor 28-70mm 3.5-4.5D that a few of the shots were taken with).
