Soul Catcher

I took this picture in front of a shawarma stand in Amman, Jordan. My friend, Achmed, was happily carrying on when a caught his smile. Liz looks into the camera from behind him.

This is one of my favorite pictures because it looks like the camera actually catches his soul. The cross processed film and city lights at night combine to make this picture unexpectedly abstract.
