For my first swap with @aguillem, he thought it would be cool to have the first layer be "pixels". I the results are very cool, although I wish the pixel layer would have been able to come through more clearly on some of these.

this is a magical place with mysterious gnome huts made out of driftwood and scraps, with rock sculptures and strange weavings in the trees. you're always alone when you go there, except maybe for a nudist or two.
I love how the cloudy sky can turn crimson red. You have to be quick though, this scene only lasts for a few minutes. Only when the sun rays hits the atmosphere at the correct angle.
Boracay sunsets are one of the best.
Whohoooo! I finally saved enough money to buy my dream camera: A Hasselblad 500 C/M. What a gem! This camera is so much fun to shoot with! It was a nice friday afternoon with great weather and so I took a stroll through my neighborhood. The Gruga Park, a large public park in Essen, is always worth a visit. I used a Proxnar close up lens (0,5 m) on the standard 80 mm lens on many of the shots.

Luckily, I managed to match the frames, and we got really beautiful results!! it's the first time I did silhouettes so it was a challenge for me!

Textures have always been popular with digital photogs and I've always found their photos terrific. But I've never been big on Photoshop, even if I did learn how to apply textures there out of curiosity. So I decided to use masks and apply textures the analogue way.

my cousin, a figure skater who practices on the ice and works-out everyday, spent half of the day running on the beach during her shoot... poor old me, who barely works out, had to chase her around on sand and sharp rocks with three cameras while the sun was beating down on us... i got home and had to pass out from exhaustion... the results aren't as sharp since i barely had time to adjust the focus but i like the results anyway!
I love Wong Kar-Wai's movies' photography. I've had this project in mind for a looong time, and finally it came out! I first shoot the images of the movies in my television, and then shoot the light painting.
