Martinique Beach is a huge sandy waterfront located in Nova Scotia (and not on the island it's name suggests). I went there on an afternoon and was very surprised to see that an important fog covered the whole area. The walk along the beach has something strange in these weather conditions, as there were some portions where you really couldn't see very far in any directions... people looked like ghostly creatures coming out of the mist.... I shot on an old expired Kodak Ektachrome E100G, that I slide processed and it came out very blue. I must say that I like the results as it translates very well the special athmosphere of this beach walk
The thing with africa is, even if you park with your bus somewhere unsuspicious, life enfolds quickly. People and actions unfold quickly and you just have to be there. At one of our last stops to Dakar in Senegal we stopped under a mango tree. Soon after there was a vivid football match of youngsters with our crew. I ran with the ball to photograph some of the action. Not so easy on film...

@liaye sent me a roll of Kodak Ektar from Germany, which was mostly but not exclusively filled with the flowers from her garden. I packed it into my suitcase and flew it to St. Petersburg in Russia, where I double exposed it with the artworks of Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin. As a result of this collaboration, the Art Improvement Society was born.

Como, Agosto 2018. Una troupe cinematografica internazionale gira un lungometraggio per le strade di Como. Ho ripreso dalle fasi degli allestimenti, sino al giorno finale in cui venivano smontati il mercatino e le apparecchiature. Durante il giorno della ripresa, su gentile richiesta dei responsabili della sicurezza, non ho scattato foto mentre venivano girate le scene. Anche se trovo tutto questo assurdo e paranoico (Che male c'è a documentare un momento storico come questo della vita cittadina? Che disturbo arreco alla loro produzione scattando qualche foto con vecchie macchine a pellicola?) devo dire che il personale addetto ha chiesto con molta gentilezza ed educazione di non scattare foto, cosa a cui mi sono attenuto.
Meandering around in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma with long time friend forceusr and his wife in July casually snapping away. I forgot how to shoot a super wide angle lens with grainy film. Remind me to get closer in the next rolls!
