compartido por soulcraft en 2024-04-14Brought out the FP-UL and used the 4x5 pack film back for the first time. I didn't realize it had a depth meter that tells you the right focal distance until I'd taken a few shots. Pretty cool hunk of a camera. I'd also never used the 4x5 size of the FP line, pretty impressed and sad that it no longer exists. I tried to do my bleach process to recover the negatives which surprisingly was possible with the 45 size (its not on the smaller pack film fp3000b as far as I've tried) ...the crazy thing is, the moment the emulsion side touches water, it turns into a psychedelic dry-lakebed lookin' hellscape and destroys the image. For some reason, one of them miraculously didn't do it at all and I was able to recover it. The positives were very faded but I brought some contrast back in post. • Nausicaa at my backyard studio @Hammond_Space (come rent it for a shoot if you live in LA) • More from that shoot on my Patreon via LinkTree • These were taken as part of my ongoing project and upcoming book about expired film and fading memories, sign up for my current kickstarter if you want updates: Alchemy of Alignment - http://kickstarter.com/projects/soulcraft/alchemy-of-alignment Explore my links on Linktr.ee/_soulcraft_ and follow me on my socials for more work, camera reviews, insights into shoots, and join me on these adventures!
