Madrid evening street life

These photos are of the ancient Egyptian Temple of Debod, which was rescued in the 1960s from an area due to be submerged bh the construction of the Aswan dam on the river Nile. Egypt donated this, and various other temples, to the nations who most contributed to the construction of the dam. Spain won the first prize, Debod's temple. Thus, there is an ancient Egyptian temple in the centre of Madrid!
