    I see it. Was it too frequent an agitation, after the initial agitation?

    Hi Mike. Thanks for your question. Actually, I had trouble spooling it on the steel reel. The film had buckled and in several places was touching. Lost about half the frames on this roll. Since then for 35mm I have more often used a plastic reel, the kind that helps pull the film in as you twist the halves in opposite directions. For 120 I have used the steel or plastic reels with about equal success. For the plastic reels, it is most important that everything be completely dry. If not, the film will probably stick somewhere. If there is high humidity, I blow the plastic reel halves with a hair dryer before putting them in the dark bag. And I keep a steel reel in the bag as a backup if my hands begin to sweat.
