Testing different ISO-settings for this film. But none came out in purple tones. Anyone know why?
Funny, the first roll of Tungsten I tried was not very purple either (www.lomography.es/homes/stratski/albums/1771294-re-rescanne…). I kind of liked it that way. But every roll I tried sice, came out pink and purple. Maybe it's the SLR? My first roll was a SLR, the next rolls were all compacts (and a Horizon, wich isn't very compact, but not a SLR either). But in any case, C-41 is the right thing to do. And try underexposing a little bit, I think that helped me to turn things purple.
i took these with a canon ae-1 slr and this roll had more orange-y yellowish tones....www.lomography.es/homes/weaver/albums/1793663-sun-times/pho…. I had the iso at 100 i think and took them in slightly sunny/cloudy conditions on the beach. the main times i achieve the purple hues is when i use my sprocket rocket or a non slr... did you scan the pictures yourself? if you brought it to a lab, i know some labs do color correction so next time ask for no color correction.
