About 3 years ago I picked up a Canon Super Prima 135 N by chance in a desolate charity shop. It then sat in a draw next to a roll of film collecting dust.

At the beginning of 2023, I re-found it like a forgotten toy, took the plunge and decided to fire it up. With no idea what to do or how to even load a roll of film in the back. I was born in the 90s, I should know how to do this!

I thought, what the hell, try and use something I grew up seeing when I was a kid, don’t think, just point and shoot and something you think looks interesting.

Changing from using an IPhone to film was an interesting experience, so many luxuries I was used to, with this high-tech camera in my pocket. With a limited number of shots available on a roll of 35mm film, I saw more emotion and realised the art of patience in photography.

I’m immersed in a new journey, full of challenges and exciting memories to come.
