I call my Actionsampler AXS. I find this analogue wonder among the underrated multiple-lens camera. But people who often drop by my lomohome would have noticed by now that I love using multiple-lens cameras like Supersampler, Pop9 and Actionsampler to create another layer to my MX shots. I needed a roll to complete the set of 5 required to take advantage of the Digiprint promo. I managed to push my mind to quickly think of what to shoot. I haven't used much my Pop9 these past months and the Supersampler was behaving badly. That's why I unearthed the former from the cabinet and used it to texture this set of colorful portrait triples of old movie stars whose movies I used to watch when I was a kid in retro programs paired with women wearing shades. Used my reliable Canon A1 for the first and second layers. Indeed when induced, the mind could be a powerful force giving birth to creative ideas . I'm triple happy with the results. This set is so titled as females are associated with Venus. And since this is the second volume, you must have guessed it by now that the first volume was from Mars.

I had the privilege of working for the recently concluded Cinemalaya 2012 as staff specifically focused on assisting on the programming or scheduling of screenings. Fortunately I was able to watch majority of the films in competition. On the last day I brought my camera with me and took shots of the exhibit at the Little Theater lobby of posters, stills and film memorabilia. First I created doubles and then added a third layer of neon lights.

I first shoot this as a redscale at ISO 100 and then correct side as ISO 400. I thougth the redscale should be first because then the colors would be in front of the redish pics i might try the other way soon, this the right side and then the redscale it would be easier. hope i like it as much as i do! XD
We have decided to do a doubles has been almost 5 months! We discussed a lot of idea at the first, finally we had consensus. The theme of my roll is ''Ira in Taipei'' and her is ''Albee in Russian'' and it's a triple! As you can see.......Ira draw a watercolor and she shoot it for the first layer. second layer is her self protrait, then II took her to travelled in Taipei in the third.. of course when we saw the results we were surprise and we all LOVE it! this February my dear friend Albee and her lovely dog virtually traveled to Russia. I hope she enjoyed St Petersburg ;) by the way I admire her artistic abilities! at the same time i travelled to Taipei. beautifull city!

I went with a group of artists to northern Mindanao to provide psychosocial support through art activities to survivors in still existing evacuation centers and temporary shelters. All throughout the flight I was praying that the flight be safe and that we would be able to provide help and not additional harm to communities who lost almost everything as a result of the flashfloods. It was like conjuring images of peace in all of our hearts and minds. This set documented that moment when I tried to find that state of peace in everything. This set includes lomographs of the trip from Manila to Cagayan de Oro City doubled with images of Buddha.
