New friends! Ralph und Florian. I was at Art Therapy supervision two weeks ago (I am a therapist, professionally) and our assignement was to create "mobile art." I commandered the art studio and some items found within it, and made a series of pictures with two lovely fellows I shall name Ralph und Florian. Shot on a Canon F1 with very expired film, indoors, after dark. All pictures taken on "bulb" mode, or 1/8.
Istanbul Grand Bazaar, city under city. This historical, ancient place lives its own life under the busy city life. In those ancient cellars life is going in its own direction, full with people and their stories. Markets, shops, police and post offices, cafes, here in this underground city you can find whatever you need and want. Every article is awaiting its buyer there.
I waited so long to shoot this film at the rig momntand t was a fail in the end. Don´t know what went wrong, the weather was good, the light conditions well but all fotos are totally underexposed and only the dots of the manipulation are visible. This shots here are by far better then the other 29 from that roll...any idea what went wrong? The film was not expired and I set my LC-A to 200 ISO.

We went to a great jazz concert in Greenwich village, to hear Ingrid Jensen and the Adam Birnbaum Quintet at the Smalls Jazz club. It was a great evening with great music and on the way back home I still had this jazzy rythms in my head and tried to translate them into some pictures of NYC at night...
