@milancekic: That's surprise for me. I mean, nothing strange that you love beautiful poetry of Esenin :) Surprise that his poetry are studying in other countries. Frankly, I don't even think about what's possible. Silly me!

Well, I used to live in Yugoslavia, a country between East and West cultures...we studied (and still do!) Esenin, Dostoyevskiy, Sholohow, Mayakovskiy, Tolstoy and many other important russian authors, both in our native languages (Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, Macedonian, Slovenian) and some of us even in Russian (I learned it for 12 years, still read and understand it very well, although unfortunately Im not a very good speaker, havent practicing for almost 10 years :(().... youre a citizen of a great country, with great authors and scientists (not to mention film artists, Kuleshov, Eisenstein, Vertov and other important figures), and Im very proud to know it pretty well and to respect that marvelous culture....
    Cheers, my friend! :)

@milancekic: As for me, I don't like Tolstoy, I just can't tell he was a good writer. But who is he, and who is me? :) However. Dostoyevskiy, Sholohow, Mayakovskiy, Tolstoy - I can understand it. But Kuleshov? Ого! What can I say? Just take a role of Captain Obvious: you know Russian culture much better then most of modern russians. And not only young russians... About Lev Kuleshov, I can hardly point 8 people, known by me in person, who can tell who it was. 3 of them was my students, so they know about Kuleshov from me :)
