Multiple Exposures with Flowers!
escrito por hodachrome el 2012-11-11 #equipo #tutorialesThe Multiple Exposure (MX) technique is one method to create some of the most unique photos know to Lomographers! We all love MX, but what are the techniques? Flowers are my favorite subject for MX. I often mix them with landscapes, old factories, trees and so on. Now, let's take a look at how we can create those wonderful images!

Film soup experiment -redscale-
compartido por hodachrome en 2012-09-13After shooting a film, take it into a dark room and open the film. Then sprinkle hot water filled with neutral detergent all around on the film, with flicking my fingers. Rewind it and put into a pan and pour water, and boiled it for about 5 minutes. Rinse and dry, and cross-deveop it. Done!

Both sides of the daily life
compartido por hodachrome en 2012-06-27Exposing both sides of the film (EBS). I shot on correct(normal) side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half of the lense was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. Need patience, concentration, and accuracy for this challenge. Plus must be careful with 'gaps' between frames. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

Beautiful Fukushima
Hanamiyama Park in Fukushima City. There are many beautiful and famous cherry blossoms in Fukushima area. This is one of them. You might know Fukushima as the town of nuclear power plant accident. Yes it's true, but it's also true that Fukushima is one of the most beautiful area where we can meet great nature through the four seasons. I just want to tell you the beauty of Fukushima by showing pics, as many as I can...

Community LomoAmigo hodachrome and his Faithful Lomo LC-A+
escrito por kyonn el 2012-09-11 #genteBy now you've all come across community Member, and LC-A star, hodachrome, or at least seen his surreal multiple exposure photos. Dolphins cursing through the sky, "Inceptional" views, and ferris wheels that look so grand and magnificent that you forget their function and treat them as a monument built for the God of photography. Let hodachrome tell you how to get the film deity to smile upon you!
