Before the healing mass for flood survivors in communities along the banks of Banica River in Dumaguete City, this boy in red shirt caught my attention. He looked at my camera with a combination of innocence, curiosity and shyness. He ran towards the foot of the image of the Virgin Mary as if wanting his pictures taken as he embraced the Lady. I followed my subject immediately and took some snapshots.
