Ashore

The northwest corner of Europe, Cape Wrath in Sutherland, Scotland. In medieval times this was the untamed and inhospitable boundary of man's knowledge of Earth. The Edge of The World. Today it is one of the most beautiful places in the World... on a good day.

@blueskyandhardrock unfortunately we were racing by...on a tiny twisty single track road trying to get to our lodgings before they stopped serving dinner....or we would starve...no where else to eat as in middle of nowhere...plus I didn't want to get my feet wet.

Been a long time since I saw Pentax Spotmatic mentioned anywhere, but I have a very sentimental attachment to those two words, 'cos that was the first SLR I ever shot with, back around 1984. It was my dad's, but he let me have it (along with three lenses) when he 'upgraded' to a more modern Canon T70. Nice to see the ol' Spotty is still being used out there by some people...! :-)

I love the stories of cameras. My little SP1000 is just so cute with his velvet lined leather case... he is becoming my best friend.
