MXperimentalism (09-22-2013 through 09-24-2013)

So... here's the story about this roll. I loaded this roll of B/W into my SuperSampler to use as a quick hip shooter while at a car show on Sunday. However, the SS, in it's infinite wisdom, ate the film and sprockets to a point that it jammed somewhere part-way into the roll. Sigh.

I decided to just rewind it and reshoot over it with another camera for some MX fun. What I didn't realize was that it was going to become the monster that it became.

First camera obviously was the Lomography SuperSampler, somewhere 1/3rd into the roll or so.

Second camera, I used my Horizon 202 set to f/2.8 and 2 second exposures and picked semi dark to dark places with light and shadow and shot through the roll.

Then, for the finale, I grabbed my Holga 205 (Meow) PnS that I've modified by gluing a fisheye into it and I shot over the entire roll again.

That's three cameras, all in chaos, all fighting over the precious film.

Who wins? Look at the photos and you decide. I personally think that they came out pretty well. Only 1 or 2 ended up with no visible multiple exposure, and one frame was at the end where none of the other cameras had shot so it was the lone single exposure.

I had fun with it and the results surprised me.

My lesson learned here is, just because one camera gets crazy on you, doesn't mean you can't get crazy right back.
