I found a nice older Minolta flash at an estate sale this morning and thought I'd give it a run for its money. So, I stuck it onto my R4A and put the 15mm super wide lens on it, since wide lenses are perfect to test how much width the flash has, and because I like the lens. I then shot a few assorted shots in the house, then went outside and shot things in the nearly pitch dark yard. I use the flashes recommended aperture settings for the distance I was at and fired away at things. THe yard was dark, the dog is black, so it was a good test to see how much reach and intensity it can have.
