Film bath in acetone
I have been wanting to wash film for quite some time in some chemicals, just never got around to it. The first roll I just pulled the film out of the roll and soaked it in a bin filled with acetone then let it drip dry and rolled it back up. The next roll which is still currently drying out, I am going to see how it looks leaving the film in the canister as it soaked and dried. We'll see I guess.
Either way, it wasn't a failure. The images turned out more blown out than I thought, with a very noticeable pink shift. I initially took my camera out into town and shot what I thought was 36 shots on a 24 shot roll, clueing me to something gone wrong.
Turns out the acetone curled the film just enough it wasn't catching when I was advancing the film. So some of these pictures I think are the result of being shot over the initial pictures. Once I finally got the film to advance properly, it was a breeze.
