It has hosted countless psychiatric patients and marginalized who have often spent their entire miserable life within its walls.
Its director was also Cesare Lombroso father by the way of physiognomy: Parascience that combined the physical traits and attitudes to mental illness.
(according to him my tattoos betray my criminal mind.;-))
Wandering among the squalor of these cells and read fragments of insanity in forgotten documents scattered on the floors would disturb the dreams of anyone.

    ... instead it's a skylight that serves to bring the sunlight in to the building .... the Count wouldn't happy of it! ;-)
