These photos are taken from the exhibition "Barrios" (neighbourhoods) of the Spanish photographer Javier Campano. The exposition shows the meteoric growth of Madrid in the 1970s after the death of the dictator Francisco Franco; the slum clearances, social opposition to speculation and the destruction of communities, and the monumental change in the social fabric of working class Madrid.
