Reciprocity Failure (Working Title), Domi, March 2023

This is the first image of a series I started this month called 'Reciprocity Failure'. It consists of portraits, still lives and landscapes about people close to me, friends and people who I once called friends. Life sometimes rips, sometimes drifts you apart. Some friendships hold on strong, some fizzle out, some go out with a bang. Through this series I try to reconnect with people I am close, people I need to visit more often and people I haven't seen in years. I try to capture their life, how they feel about themselves, where they see themselves right now and try to document my relationship with them in a way too.
