Sunday Stroll

Some pictures from on a Sunday stroll back in April, taken with an old Agfa Box 44 from the 1930s and a selfmade half frame mask. The mask makes space for 16 images on a roll of 120 film, instead of the 8 images the camera would usually take. There are some light leaks (the white blotches on the upper side of the frame) and some areas that weren’t fully reached by the fix bath (the white areas at the bottom). I think these look interesting, but I’d probably try to avoid the light leaks next time by covering the back of the camera with gaffer tape or black cloth.

This self made mask works really well and really adds something to your compositions. I really hope you get a chance to experiment more with this and share the results with the community.
