I shot this in July 2014 at 25ASA but deliberated for ages on whether to buy the special high contrast developer or just to wing it with Caffenol like I normally do. Finally, with some help, I decided on using the Caffenol Delta Micro recipe and I'm actually quite pelased with the results. Some shots are mostly black but I love the subtle detail present. I also like that some shots look sort of solarised. I'm not sure how that happened. These shots were taken in an abandoned china clay industry place. There were a MILLION seagulls living there that made the most immense noise at our presence. I wish I could add sound effects. Added in a red filter too with this one.
Some photos the future Mrs Rewd took during a school trip to Italy. The colors changed so much that Italy looked like a country inhabited by red-haired people only at that time...
Shot during the "repair" of my "new" car between 1988 and january 1990. Lomographer in carge here: my mother (not amused). We made one car - the red one - out of two and half - mostly the blue one - and painted everything in blue - Versailles Blue - to match the colour of my mothers car. The "result" - a Reault R4 - is still on the street from time to time. These are scans from prints. The negatives are unfortunately lost.
Last bunch of Uncle Herbert's from Morocco, about 1958, probably, camera and films unknown. I had to administer his estate in 1987 and never found his cameras...
I am not sure what happened. This roll was intended to be used for red scale, which these shots are. They are shot from 25-800 ISO on redscaled LomoChrome Turquiose. But, my chemicals were acting crazy and there was a light leak introduced somehow when I was shooting or re-rolling it (twice). The leak makes it feel more experimental. And it hints at what LCT is capable of when given enough light. ;)
Ah, roll 1 of my LomoChrome Turquiose. I first decided to shoot from 25-800 ISO in 4 spots. I metered and generally aimed and started shooting. It wasn't until I had finished the fourth pass that I realized I had the wrong body and so my ISO changed did nothing. But at least I got some 200 ISO shots out of the deal.Sacrificed for the betterment of mankind.
