La Patisserie (RIP)

We didn't have brunch very frequently at La Patisserie—a French-style restaurant near our home—because the service was hellish. But I am glad we did on this particular morning some months ago. Last week, the place closed. The economy is forcing businesses that have been around for decades to close.
