Stupid Lab Ruined My Film!!! Towards the end of my vacation, I opted for dev only as I had three airports and x-ray machines ahead of me. Picking up my negs from the shop, they weren't cut. They weren't sleeved. Ten rolls of uncut negatives all stacked together, coiled up and stuck in a cardboard box! This album shows what I could salvage from the worst two strips. Both were completely overdeveloped- black as coal from edge to edge. The other eight rolls were all damaged as well, to varying degrees. Many had huge scrapes across the frames, and chunks of emulsion missing. They left the adhesive tabs of the spool-ends, which just messed things up more. I don't know how a proper, established photo lab could mess up an entire order. As mentioned, this album shows the worst of it. What I can salvage of the rest will be included in my upcoming albums with a disclaimer. I haven't contacted the lab yet- it's in another country and there's not much I can do about this disaster anyhow. Also, I don't know if naming-and-shaming is permited here. And ultimately I can only wonder... could this have been intentional!?

Barcelona
