"Mirada Mosaico"

ES: Con la Lubitel fuera de enfoque y un proyecto artístico en mano, tenía que resolver pronto. Investigue por horas viendo fotos de todas las Lubitel y manuales de ella en el Internet, pero no lograba encontrar medidas exactas. Al final, decidí que seria mejor ver videos que muestran distintos ángulos de la misma cámara y ojalá lograra algo. Hasta disparar el rollo no sabría de manera segura, pero decidí tener fe. El enfoque del proyecto era sobre lugares significantes y/o lindos en Curicó, entonces el enfoque imperfecto no resulto ser tan negativo; lo llamo el ‘faux-sfumato’.
EN: With the Lubitel out of focus and an artistic project at hand, I had to resolve soon. I investigated for hours on the internet, looking at photos of the Lubitel and manuals of it, but I never managed to find exact measures. In the end, I decided it was best to look at videos that show different angles of the same camera, and hopefully manage something. Until shooting the film, there would be no way to know for sure, but I decided to have faith. The focus of the project was on significant and/or pretty places in Curicó, so the imperfect focus didn’t turn out to be so negative; I call it ‘faux-sfumato’.
