experiment colour film to black and white

This is fuji superia 400 expired 2004.im using D76 chemical,1+9,25-30 minutes develop,2 minutes fixer and epson v330 scanner...more time for develop and the result more bnw.if less times,the colour result turn sephia,brown or sometime grey..
