«Girl with a jug»

Moscow. Gorky Park. At the entrance to the park from the St. Andrew's Bridge is a fountain "The girl with the pitcher." The elegant bowl at the center of the basin, a sculpture - topless young Greek woman with a pitcher from which water flows. 27 thin jets emerging from the ring located around the circumference of the pool get together at the foot of the cup, harmoniously complementing a sculpture of a young Greek woman.

The fountain is not great - water surface area - 29 sq. M., The volume of the cup - 4 sq. M. Designed in the style of the park, it blend in with the landscape. In the evening, fountain and sculpture illuminated, creating a common set of illuminated St. Andrew's Bridge.

For a long time the construction did not work, and only in 1998 when the bridge was reconstructed St. Andrew, the area in front of him and Pushkinskaya Naberezhnaya, the fountain was restored.
