  I was invited by my old friend Vene to be one of the judges to evaluate the film projects of her political science class. The short films should somehow sum up what the students learned based on specific social concern. Glad I said yes to her invitation and finally seeing her and her daughters after decades since college. Also met with fellow judge indie film maker Aureus Solito whose film Busong has been making waves in the international film scene. Met also Ge, one of the co-owners of the resto-bar who recently won an acting recognition. Shots taken using a roll previously exposed to create frames for the main subjects.

  Every new year's eve, barangay (village ) Alabang (not to be mistaken with the plush Ayala Alabang Village) holds its mardi gras where groups of young people representing the different areas parade in costumes and props. Took square portraits of the youngsters sporting Chinese and Japanese anime-inspired costumes, masks, make-up and hairstyle at the start of the parade at the churchyard.

  Tarde en la que visitamos Escuaín y el valle de Pineta todo nevadito! Nos lo pasamos muy bien disfrutando de la nieve, si es que somos como niños. =D Utilicé el X Tungsten y creo que no fue muy buena elección... y las fotos no reflejan lo bonito que era el paisaje.
