A la entrada de un refugio de peregrinos, una caja abierta deja ver unas monedas y un billete. Sobre la tapa, en una cuartilla, alguien ha escrito con perfecta caligrafía: “peregrino, deja lo que puedas; toma lo que necesites”. Con esta frase ta sencilla, el anónimo comunicante acaba de describir la abismal diferencia que separa el Camino de Santiago de cualquier otra ruta senderista del globo. La hospitalidad, la tradición depositada por miles y miles de viajeros desde hace once siglos en cada piedra, cada arbol y cada ricón de la ruta jacobea hacen de este camino al Oeste, al finis terrae, única del mundo. En el año 1999 realice El Camino de Santiago, desde Roncesballes hasta Santiago de Compostela,( llamado el camino Frances), con mi cámara Contax G1 y película Ilford, fue una experiencia inolvidable que siempre lo tendré en el recuerdo. Han pasado muchos años desde entonces, y supongo que las cosas habrán cambiado mucho, y por eso me gustaría realizarlo otra vez, pero en esta ocasión con una Lomo, para sentir la sensación de vivir en otra época del pasado. … At the entrance to a refuge of pilgrims, an open box reveals coins and a bill.
