Chamber of the Secret Chancellery, in the Palazzo Ducale, Venice
Palazzo Ducale is a palace built in Venetian Gothic style, and one of the main landmarks of Venice. The palace was the residence of the Doge of Venice, the supreme authority of the former Republic of Venice. The walls of the Secret Chancellery Chamber are completely covered with cabinets containing public deeds and secret contracts of most of the Venetian courts. The upper doors are decorated with the coats of arms and names of chancellors place since 1268.
