I'm a printmaker by trade, but I get my photo bug from my father who was always taking pictures of us kids when we were young. I've really like the look and spontaneity of the lomo process. I just bought my first Diana (original) recently for my Spring Break. I thought that this would be an exciting way to get out and do something fun. I also wanted to get back to my analogue roots to as a reminder as to how digital has it's 'foundations' in traditional film photography. The great thing about film too is there are a lot of techniques that you can do 'in camera' that you can't do with digital in most cases.
