This is an introduction to using a candle flame to manipulate and distort your negatives. This process results in melted, stretched, and twisted images with colour shifts. Proceed with caution there is no going back.

From ”filmsoup-swap” project with my favorite photographer fotobes. He shot first in UK, and then I shot in Japan (at Kakuouzan Temple, Nagoya). After finishing the roll I ”cooked” the film. I put the dissolved neutral detergent onto all around the film in a darkroom. Then rewind the film and heated the canister in boiled water for 5 minutes. After I dried the film I got it developed. Came out psychedelic image. We don’t discuss what we have each taken photographs of, so the results are always a surprise. my first filmsoup I ever tried yet! I'm totally flashed! :D this film is an expired Walmart 200 I first dropped into a cup of freshly boiled green tea and baking soda, waited for 20 hours, dried it with a hair drier and then exposed it in an Exakta HS-10 set on 50 ASA using colour filters :)
