compartido por clickiemcpete en 2013-02-22John and I roaming the grounds at Amherst College in January. The Voigtlander Virtus is another example of the many amazing Voigtlander cameras from the golden age of folding cameras, 1930's-50's. This one is fitted with Compur shutter and excellent Skopar 75mm f3.5 lens. I love the vertical orientation of this piece, so cool looking and great to use. One of the marvelous features of these early Voigtlanders is they had an external knob that allowed you to set the distance even before opening the camera so you could preset the distance and then only have to worry about aperture and shutter speed as you popped the latch. http://camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/Voigtl%C3%A4nder_Virtus

compartido por mandi en 2009-07-20back in 2005, these shots were just a quick test to see if it is all turning out as promised and to see if someone is able to develop them at all. had them manually printed and then scanned from print. the plan was to shoot on after the first results, they took the camera away from me... so all there is left from my short MF-1 adventure are this moreless random shots at work + some from the neighbourhood.... i could have done better if they only had let me.... booohoooo.....

Personal
compartido por falsedigital en 2010-12-10A rather unflattering portrait of a friend. This may not have the glamour that some of my previously posted portraits have but I think it expresses quite a lot. I'm quite happy with how it came out. This was taken w/ the 80mm f/1.9 lens.

compartido por clownshoes en 2012-04-16Efke IR820. It's one of those film that I either love or hate. There are alot of factors that go into why a shot didn't come out or not; It just so happens that I have more issues then not when I shoot the 820. I might have been too sloppy with loading and unloading the film this time around. Also using a new camera I'm not exactly comfortable with yet.

Do-it-Yourself: Colour Film Developed in Rodinal
escrito por keefmarshall el 2012-11-19 #equipo #tutorialesMost easily-available and cheap film is colour negative (CN), which uses a process called C41 (or CN-16) for development. While you can do C41 development at home, the chemicals are a bit nastier, and it's cheaper and easier to use a black-and-white developer. They also keep for longer. Plus, developing colour film in Rodinal gives you a unique look - not quite like anything else.
