The last time I was in Echo Park, Maria (AKA Orange Bill) chased me and Jenn all over. We didn't realize she was a celebrity! She's currently at the LA Zoo as Echo Park Lake has been drained for cleaning. If they don't return her to the park upon reopening, I'll start printing FREE MARIA t-shirts. (She turned out to be a he, but he will always be Maria.)
