Back to basics

My grandfather gave me this wonderful camera. I never shot a fully manual camera before and had to find a reliable shutter speed chart. This roll was only a test but turned out to be quite a success. A bit overexposed on some photographs though.

The Brownie is really fun to use, especially for night shots, I had to calculate the exposure time using my digital camera (I don't have a lightmeter) and a watch. A nice teaching tool too in terms of depth of field, there are 3 different apertures on mine and it's quite useful.

@marcus_loves_film Box camera, from 1932, fixed 1/50th of a second shutter speed or bulb and three aperture settings (11, 16, 22), it's a pleasure to use!
