I made a mask for my LC-A by cutting a piece of used color negative film leader and taping it inside the LC-A film chamber. I used cheap craft scissors to make the deckle edge on the film mask and blue painters tape to carefully afix it inside. I thought maybe I could replicate a redscale look by using the film mask but obviously there's a little more going on with redscale...I'm thinking maybe there is a chemical change to the film substrate during development. Otherwise what would be the difference between turning a film around or making a filter mask from used film?
