How has it been 20 years? The memory of 9/11/2001 is still fresh & still the worst day of my life & collectively the worst day of the lives of so many. I'm sending a ton of love to all the heroes, survivors & loved ones whose lives were forever changed that day. I am also thinking about my Aunt Pamela Ann who died a few years later after working in the rubble. You are so loved & missed! 💜

The year after I graduated from college I did a photography internship @ the Staten Island Advance. I was on my way to an assignment driving down Victory Blvd. earlier in the year when I looked up while at a red light & noticed how dreary it was on my side while the light shone brightly in the city & on the Towers. So I grabbed my camera & I took this one shot. The photo is incredibly mediocre, but I'm so happy I shot it.

My heart feels heavy today. I'm praying for & sending out love to all who are feeling loss today.

September 11, 2001...we'll never forget. ❤❤❤❤❤
