The last roll.

With these photos of my daughter went the last roll I had of Superia 800. The most recent version of ISO 800 film from Fuji. Like the one I used many years ago to photograph argentine genius musician Gustavo Cerati and so many others. They stopped making it some time ago and I had the last one in the fridge.
These days I think a lot about the effect of time. If I see Pacino or De Niro throwing punches and thug kicks, I remember that in the next one they will play someone's ill grandfather. They are no longer those who scream "WOAH" or ask "You talkin' to me?"
The camera I used for this photo was made by a brand that in the 20th century was the pinnacle of photography as a humanist experience, and now survives as Louis Vuitton for rich males.
Leica R5 + Leitz Summilux-R 50mm + Fuji Superia X-Tra 800 (expired 2018).
