Y'know, this has a really delicate feel. There is an enigmatic elegance about the shape of the figure -almost like ballet dancer - that balances beautifully against the ominous danger of the sea and the rocks. Excellent.

@malcolm_tremain its my favourite. Lady surfers are so elegant, I can tell the difference from a mile off. The shot itself is something of a miracle, to catch her alone with no other surfers in the frame on what was a busy day blows my mind really. As usual with me I've got an eye on the past, I like the work of the original surf photographers from the 50s and 60s especially and this one is a kind of homage to that. It's funny you mention ballet because the more I do this the more I am looking for that kind of movement. Cheers mate, it means a lot to me.

@malcolm_tremain shit, I almost forgot. This print is on bromesko, that may have something to do with the delicacy, the others were on the agfa paper:)

@charliedontsurf The Bromesko is a fibre paper so it will stain easier than the Agfa. I've got a few shots to print on the sheets I have and I'll use a warmtone dev so hopefully they'll have a nice warm look.
